I wanted to make use of my Xtender mod and slap another HDD in my OG XBOX. It's chipped with the DuoX2 and currently running XBMC Emustation. I have Slayers, HeXen and several other discs. Is it possible to install the HDD without using a PC? i.e. Booting HeXen without the old HDD? I've tried searching for Button combos for the chip, but Google turns up less than my mother-in.law at a beauty peagant..
Boot Hexen with the new HDD selected. UnleashX should see that a new HDD is installed and format it. Next, use Hexen to set up the new HDD's stock drive content. Then, Install apps, dashboards and other utilities from the installer disc to the new HDD. Each drive used with the Xtender is a completely different system configuration. You'll need common apps/dashboards/utilities you want on run on each drive.
Thx. Got it working now. Currently transferring CoinOps Ninja to the new drive.. If I don't like it, I'll use it for OG Games instead.
