When I went to wal-mart to pick up Gears of War (Must be pretty damn popular, because every other place was sold out), Tony Hawk Project 8 and Call of Duty 3 were already there. So yeah, there may be a chance that some of the PS3 games may be broken before their launch date.
Out, as in, actually selling them?? Thats a little odd. I thought stores were supposed to hold all system launch related merchandise until the actual release date. Why do you think some of the games may be broken?
Yeah, they were selling them. Had the special display case where the games would be located at as well.
i still remember two weeks before the ps2 came out we got in street fighter ex3 and gungriffin when i worked at funco,we also had blue stinger for dc for a bit before the launch.there will always be someone who will buy the game even though they dont have a system.
Heh, that reminded me of the time when I bought Mega Man Legends without having a Playstation, and playing it on my friends system. The only bad part was, he wouldnt usually let me play it that long and wouldn't let me borrow it. And to think, I let that person borrow my Xbox for almost a month and a half the other day. In which he said he would pay me rent for, and surprise, surprise, I don't get anything when its returned. I wasn't expecting him to pay up anyway. I'm not that dumb. I just thought it would be nice to let him borrow it and satiate his Halo 2 addiction. He also broke his promise of adding profiles to it, keeping too long, and cheating on it so he's never borrowing anything ever again from me. Guess I'm an all around better and nicer person than he is. Oh, and regarding the Mega Man Legends game, having a game for which you have no system for, SUCKS. My Mom also got upset with me for doing that, too.:shrug:
