HI ! I want to change my 62-pin connector from my Super famicom (so the Japanese model..). i've seen some shops on internet where I can get a connector , but.... Some super famicom have a solderless 62 pin connector, and some don't'... How can be sure of this ? Do I need to open my super famicom ? Can I get this information with my serial number (on the back of my sfc) ??
Well if you post the serial number people could tell you if they have a SFC in that range and if theirs had a solderless cart slot or not. Here is a spreadsheet that has serials and board revisions. Mine has a serial of S2503xxxx, is a CPU-1Chip-01 and has a soldered cart slot. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AvE57-VbN9_HdEpkUUR0U1hzMHFWVWw3VXhORHFIanc&output=html
Ok ! here is my serial number : S25059806. This is a 1 chip 02 version. I guess I have also a soldered cart slot ??
