Hi everyone. I've been doing some SGX dev and tests on the real system. Since there are only a hand full of games for the system, it's possible not everything is known about the A revision of the VCE and some modes of the VPC. I've written some demos that show off what is known of the VPC. (ROM format) http://pcedev.net/demos/sgx_demos/SGXdemo.zip http://pcedev.net/demos/sgx_demos/SGXdemo2.zip (SCD format) http://pcedev.net/demos/sgx_demos/sgx_demo_1.zip http://pcedev.net/demos/sgx_demos/sgx_demo_2.zip I think someone mentioned they had unreleases SGX games? Is it possible I can get access to them? -Rich
So there isn't any good way to ask this question...:banghead: Nice try though  BTW can't wait to try your demos, I'm being cynical here but I definitely support Supergrafx developers, keep us posted on your progress!!! Sabre
I've tried the first demo out in Yame and all I can get it to do is show a static screen. No sprites....
Yame has inaccurate SGX emulation and ME uses hacks to get SGX games to run (game ID). Try mednafen (use the -pce.forcesgx 1 command line option or change the file extension to .sgx for the newest build of mednafen) or the real thing if you have a Super CDROM2 unit(cd image) or flash cart(rom). I have some more SGX demos coming out soon. As far as getting the games just to have or release them, that's not my agenda. It's no business of mine why the unreleased games have not been released to the community(??) - if they even exist. All I really care about is any addition info about the VPC (huc6202) or either of the A revisions of the huc6280(CPU) and huc6260(VCE), that these unfinshed games might give hint to. None of those revisions were used in the Duo and other units that came *after* the SGX (the huc6202 was absent for obvious reasons). -Rich
