I was just curious, is there a port of SW to Android? I mean there is already an iOS port but no Android port. :-(

If there's no Android version, you might be able to boot the game trough an android dosbox variant.

Well if I try to run it through Dosbox turbo even with tweaked settings, it's a little laggy plus I have no proper touch controls. P.S. I can't even get System Shock to run at full speed on my device . (I am using Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100)

It looks that nobody cares about porting SW to android. Sources are here, so it's not a big deal, really. A few weeks of lazy work at most. And DOSBox... well, some late DOS games require very powerful CPU to run smoothly (at least 2GHz i3 or Phenom II) and mobile CPUs aren't here yet (it's performance vs power consumption and TDP - phone or tablet as powerful as 4 years old laptop will be just like a brick - same size and weight, even heavier probably)

It's sad no one cares about playing awesome games on DosBox and only just care about is repetitive mobile garbage & Nintendo emulators.

Well I can play CnC RA1 on android at full speed. But still, can't really play fps games at full speed. :'(

Yeah, I even asked Beloko about it he says its possible but he also says about a problem with the source license.

I dunno, playing an old PC game on a phone seems...less than optimal.

Maybe a text adventure with a good keyboard, but that's about it.

True, unless they optimize touch controls similar to that found on those pre-installed Dos games at the Play Store. But, the problem is that there's less of them available which keeps from people trying a few out.
