[Share] Xbox 360 - HDDVD Emulator Files

I found a pakage I prepared earlier but was not sure about back then if it would work. F*&k it, just here have the files. try your self. REPORT back with any progress PLEASE.

Damm I did some work back then, also note that the box where it came from is a Xenon, updated sometime ago to a dash to play GTA IV, RROD on me and now sometimes works. (because its my First 360, I just cant trow it away.) Did try to fix it, but it probably needs a real reball action. It did not work after the update unless I connected my real HDDVD (weird new check?) and it is not working on my Jtag (with or without hddvd player).
Did not touched any files after I got my (china) XDK, so did NO patches, never run on a xdk or any hacking after my newer knowledge. Ill have to find some time for that. BUT, because maybe you guys are Pro 1337 hackers... oke, mostly script kiddies and some real programmers, good luck and please help us run this emulator again


Files inside the Zip then take a look in the folder "HDDVD Emu XboxFiles" ... Thats the untouched, directly ripped files.

Also I found a cache folder called HDDVD, maybe we need that aswell, dunno. isnt inluded, report to me if it is needed. please report messages from debug programs or patch programs. And dont be a noob, you properbly need to hack your way in your xbox somehow.... THIS IS NOT FOR XBOX ONE...(just in case).
Back in the day I got a Code, entered it in the xbox360, and a download started. And there it was working on a Xenon, Bladedashboard xbox360.

I can confirm it works to an extent on XDK, on 21256.3, after being patched with 360gamehack. Although when I did the reading about this app they specifically say you need the hd dvd player, duh, to use the app and thus I get a "HD DVD drive not found" when launching. Still cool in my opinion thanks for sharing CodeAsm.

I dont remember reading that, but I more just entered the code and tried. Maybe they changed it, to require everyone to have a HDDVD connected or i was mistaken and already got a HDDVD (I do still)
The "HD DVD drive not found" is what I do remember the last time I tried. Hope you guys enjoy (and maybe hack that requirement away?)
wonder what that hyperion file is and what It do. can we do magic things now?

 

It require the hd-dvd drive, as the software to play the content are inside the drive.
I have acess to a devbox and a hd-dvd drive. Will do some testes and report back.

 

drahcir, can you share your version?
I don't think it will fully work on a XDK, since it requires the drive, and the software inside the drive is retail signed.
I've tested the drive on a XDK. It detects the disc but won't start the player.

 

You can use the emulator on a Jtagged console fine, just patch the "live" container with Yaris Swap / any other tool that will unlock content downloaded from live.

Ensure "fake live" is enabled in dashlaunch and a HD-DVD drive is connected to the console and you can basically do the following:

When you try to browse the content associations Without "fake live" enabled you will be asked to sign in to Xbox Live here, however with fake live enabled you get the following error:



The PC application will randomly log test connections, however nothing more as you can't really do much more.



That's about as much as i've been able to do so far.
