Hello an technical question for japanese tube TV.

    I have an Sharp SF-1 21" 100v 60Hz. I don't have tried it for the moment.

    I'm in Europe under 230v 50Hz.

No problem for voltage, I have big stepdown transformer 230/100v.

But I've a doubt. How will be react the electron tube in 50Hz ?
I will be to have an horizontal dephasing ?
Recomended to put this solenoid in 50Hz ? It was developped for 60Hz.
And the hight tension transformer ?

    Thank you for comments.

you must use a PAL to NTSC converter for video, that thing WILL NOT display 50hz video. also won't run on 50hz voltage phase either. you must get a step down that also converts the output to 60hz

Thank's to answer skyway, PAL/NTSC is not the purpose, the big interrogation is frecuency, and an frecuency converter it's an very expensive system, normalely used in industry.

Lot of 60hz systems don't have problem in 50hz, videogames, lcd TV, machinery... but an classic tube TV is regenerating screen each 1/60 second in japan and 1/50 second in europe.

When I will be connect with my stepdown converter, I will be see how it's the TV comportment ..
