There's no difference mate, save your money or if you really want it go ahead.

On the point of pre-production DC diskd, there was a white label disk I've seen lately (might have been here) of virtua tennis which said it had online functions, does anybody know if this was on non-european VT games, or was it scrapped by SEGA?

Yeah, Virtua Tennis 2 (aka Tennis 2K2 in the States) was going to have online play, but Sega dropped the online mode at the very end.

So I wouldn't be surprised if the pre-production disc has an online mode.

    Online

vtennis 2 white does not have online play. Ive never known any difference between a white and a final version. The white is only made befroe it goes through the final publisher submission. hence the disclaimer that its a beta. Other than that its the same game bar any possible minor bug fixes.

The one I saw came with a card saying something like ''not for use online before''' followed by a date, which was probably due to server setup, and it was VT1 not VT2 (2k2 in the US), was the first to have online play and then scrapped?
