I just remembered reading an interview online some years back in which David Perry states that Messiah was up and running fine on the Dreamcast. For whatever reason though, it was never released to DC nor PS1. I still remember the ad on the back of the instruction booklet of the PS1 game Wild 9 which read something like 'Messiah: coming winter '98' and being really disappointed when it was cancelled. I wonder if anyone out there is in... possession.. of either version? They'd be cool to see in action. I would imagine that the DC version played better between the two. I'm not sure how far along the PS1 version was but I can understand this version being canned due to hardware limitations. I finally played it on PC years ago and was thrilled. I cackled like a madman as I jumped from body-to-body, setting people ablaze with flamethrowers. There needs to be a Messiah 2 and the original needs to finally be ported to console, ala the Sega Ages compilation discs. "We just ran tests on it and yes, it does run Messiah well. If anyone wants to see Messiah on the Dreamcast, just drop a line to Sega, they know where to find me. " Link to the interview: http://www.futuregamez.net/special/shiny/davepinterview.html
