I'm tempted by the new 79$ kindle... its price is really sweet, but should i expect to pay custom taxes on it?

You can't get a Kindle from amazon.it, only from that international shipping page and from Amazon UK for people in the UK.
yeah i know... they promised months ago that they'll allow buying it... also the UK version is massively costier than the cheap US version... 79$ it's about 58 euros! :/ while 89£ are 102 euro... T_T what a theft and how depressing! from 58 to 102 euros...
You gotta take into account that the $79 version is the one with ads that you can't order outside the US. You should compare it to the $109 ad-less Kindle instead.
on amazon.de there's the ad-less kindle at 99 euros -> 132$... guess that would be my best chance? but this way the sweet price point vanishes :/
Protip: get the touch one for $20 more The cheap one is a bitch to browse through books, that pad it has looks like something out of a brazilian master system controller
