So I was digging around the internet tonite and ran across some software for the Saturn called Dezaemon 2. Apprently its a easy to use game that lets you make your own shmups The only problem being is that I cant find a translation patch for it (appently there is a patch for the NES version though) I was wondering how hard it would be for someone to make a patch for the saturn or PSX version of the game and make at least the menus and buttons in english (not alot of them from what ive seen) I think it would be great to have the PSX version be translated because it could be played on modded PSPs. So does anyone here think its something they might be interested in trying, and if not is there any software similer to this thats in english for PC or any other platform? :thumbsup:
Dezaemon is a fantastic bit of software. Madroms also made a Saturn compilation disc featuring 100's of Japanese made shooters for it. Of course you need the original game to use this disc but well worth trying out. Although it's Japanese most of the commands are icon based so you can work pretty much everything out with ease. Im pretty sure theres a version of Dezeamon for the SNES, not sure if theres a translation patch or not. I dont remember ever hearing of an NES version though.
