They won't work because the location of the micro card slot is covered with metal on the standard size cart slot. Need to either cut the metal or replace slot with an open model. This is the slot as used on ED64 and most if not all other Everdrive line carts: Now this is the slot as used on the Raspberry Pi: See the difference in the open space on the Pi? You can see the full card. That space is used by the micro adapter thus meaning it won't work on the ED line since that location is covered with metal.
Sorry for answering to an thread a few months old. I just mentioned this in the cover art thread, but I figured I'd post here as well in case anyone else is looking through these forums for a short adapter option. I found a microSD adapter that's about half the height of a regular SD card. It's $20, but that's cheaper than some other alternatives out there doing the same thing. He sells on Amazon and Ebay, too (links to those are on that site), but buying off the main site gives you the option to buy 3 for $50, which I took. Not wanting to sound like a cheerleader for the guy, but I was excited to have an option to have a clean, non-cut cartridge to house my EverDrive64 and SD2SNES.
Hi spoonTRex! I bought some like these adapters and cut off the top :encouragement: http://www.ebay.com/itm/180885597224?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 I think they've done the same thing with them for $20 :wink-new: greetings Bozzes
