Hi there, I got a short question regarding the NGCD. Was there any US or UK-exclusive NGCD-game? I'm putting together a perfect masterlist of jpn NGCD-games so I want to know if I really own every game in case of owning a complete jpn collection.

I'd agree no exclusives outside of Japan, who im sure you know had games not released elsewhere. Cover art could be different, for sure some title covers differ i.e. Dunk Dream/Street Hoop.

There's 97 games iirc which total 101 releases as some had multiple releases. All 101 came out in japan, less in the US (not sure how many as I don't collect US and I think even now some games are unconfirmed as us released or not..ninja masters for example). The 4 extra games are AoF 3 LE KoF 95 Special Package (no game with this one just lots of nice art and stuff) KoF 98 with 99 Calender KoF 98 Special Box. OH, and if you can, post up your list when you're done. I made my own list a while back for a friends site (NGCD.net) with cat nos, barcode nos etc..but at the time, although I had all 101 releases, some of the regular games were US versions not jp. In fact I still need to swap 10 titles from US to JP to have a full JP set but I'm not to bothered by it right now.

Included in the 97..so I suppose you could call it 96 games and 5 LEs. I prefer to call it 97 though as the KoF96 Collection is a different entity to KoF 96..it doesn't have the game just a disc of art (from memory)..whereas the other 4 I list above (except the KoF95 which was given out as a promo item, no game etc, so 3 really) do come with the game, as well as extras. Perhaps 97, 3 LEs and 1 promo item is the best way to describe the full jp set. (or 96, 3 LEs, 1 oddball, 1 promo) Edit..ng.com list 100 in their cd price guide..everything except the KoF 95 Special which I guess doesn't feature as it was a not for sale promo item.
I remember when I got KoF 96 Coll, like a tool I spent ages wondering where the disc was..until I noticed a fairly unobtrusive slit in the side where the disc was hidden.
I finished the list a few days ago. Every game is included (total 100 + the Hibaihin KoF 95), with english (engrish, not the US-version's name of course) titles AND japanese titles. I was not sure about some copyright dates though, I'd appreciate any corrections about that: I'm looking for the copyright date of the NGCD-version, not of the AES/MVS one (if available)! Thats a list of PC-FX?? I just wanna pipe in that for the record Neo Geo CD is one of the ultimate consoles for us types.....gettable full library, with quality to boot.
