I did this mod on my JP N64 using the R8-R10 vias and accidentally bridged the red input to the +5V line on the DIY board, only noticed this when I tested it and got an image missing the red channel. I had it running in this state for not longer than 15 seconds, fixed it and it is working fine now, but is it possible that this did any long-term damage to the system?

Really surprised by the image quality from this mod though, didn't expect it to be such a huge step from S-Video... I used both a 0.1uF and 22uF as described in the datasheet and get zero checkerboarding or interference, even with using composite video as sync.

If it's working fine now I wouldn't worry about it.
