Ok guys so heres the thing i have the opportunity of getting a wii at no cost, (direct trade) im selling some material that i no longer use, now im at a dilema and i would like your opinions, im gonna try to explain the most i can. So im trying to save up some money to buy a naomi universal arcade cabinet, so to speed up the process i put some stuff for sale on my local selling website by total i should make about 100€ for all the stuff. making me very close of getting my cabinet. Now while i was waiting for a potencial buyer, this guy came and ofered me a wii to trade he says that the wii is a black edition with a wiimotion plus and nunchk has well an extra wiimote+nunchk plus wiisports and wiisports resort, now i never had a wii, but im very familiar with the library and i kinda had interest on the major titles, (i actualy played some on a emu, but dont tell anyone XD) but still im very confused of what i should do, should i get the wii or the money? Now many of you guys may think that 100€ is easy to optain but not for me im a collage student and most of the money goes to food and other collage related material.
If you buy the Naomi cabinet will you be able to get or already have games to use in it? If so, I think that is the way to go. The Wii isn't going anywhere and honestly will not be worth that much in the future. It's value is only going down. The special editions are meaningless unless maybe if it was brand new and never opened. The Naomi stuff will actually hold value so you won't save money by putting it off like you could with Wii.
Yeah, that Wii isn't that great.. Even more so since it's the black edition, since they're for sure the revision that has the new dvd drives that prevent dvd playback, gamecube backups, etc. If you were going to get a Wii, go for a used model that you know has the old dvd drive. That's what I did, and I don't regret it.
well has for the naomi has MottZilla was asking it wont come with any games, it will only have the naomi hardware and also would require a small modification where i need to place a 12 button controll panel has the one im buyin i belive is only 4 so besides the original cabinet payment il still have to put a lot more, my objective is one of the 2 choices: 1- get a dreamcast into the naomi cab. 2- get a netdimm for netboot the naomi games.
