Should we start to worry about Shenmue III sucking?

One aspect of Shenmue III that really doesn't bother me is the fighting scenes (supposedly) using a new simplified play mechanic rather than the Virtua Fighter system, as the battles in the first two games felt nothing like AM2's dedicated series, anyway. Then again, it's a shame Yu Suzuki will likely never return to that franchise, especially since it's stagnated and now become dormant in his absence.

 

I won't be negative like that. Yu Suzuki is in charge so that's all we need. Let's wait until we see/hear more before we get negative.
