Resolved Shoutbox Log for members only

Since the Shoutbox has been members only for quite a while now, I feel the log should be, as well, members only. Only cases it would be open is when there is a legal case against a member or local government authorities need access into logs for investigation. Otherwise I feel it should Go members only along with the Shoutbox.

Yes. The fewer people that view my inane ramblings the better.

 

Doesn't make a lot of sense to have a public log of a private chatbox imho. Lock 'er up.

(Also I've seen people post private things in public there (e.g. "Hey $user I got your package ready: http://<photo-with-shipping-label-in-plain-sight>"). And the internet hardly ever forgets. Maybe it should even be staff only?)

 

I agree with having it non-public as well. Keeps it off of the search indexers.

I agree with this. Also it not being able to be crawled by web spiders would also help.

Many who use the shoutbox joke around, and share images. All you have to do is google a username and they all come up.
