Creating a custom arcade stick can be really fun.
I start customize my second stick based on a HRAP V (XOne).
I changed the buttons and stick for Seimitsu. Also adding a MC Cthullu and a chronus Max v3 for using it on any console, pc and supergun! Still working on it. But at the end i will be very happy with it.

    My custom faceplate (japanese art):

First thinking was creating a purple with blue and black finish.
Still need some hours but will be great ^^. The print and lasercut was made from http://www.tek-innovations.com/arthobbies/?loc=products. Great guy, thanks Arthur.

It's not as impressive as a real designed one, being custom made entirely, but it's just as functional and the layout fits for me better than any bought one...

I know I posted this on my Arcade Build thread, but it helps get this thread going ;)

Nice one! Do you have a multi console board inside?

I really like the HRAP for the design yes, has also nice pads on the bottom.
But i had to do some metal work o_O

No. I built a separate arcade machine which has a pi2 in it with retropie on. The stick I showed is for player 2, but is actually just USB, so it can be used with anything pretty much.

Finished the connection options, RJ45 for SNES, MD, SS, DC, PSX-PS2, USB with Adapter for PC, PS3, 4/Xbox360/Xbox One, and a Neo Geo port for my Supergun. Anything with the MC Cthulhu, awesome board..

I really like the transparent Joysticks. Im still in an early stage of re-viving an old 90s arcade machine, adding more and more modern stuff to it.

Not yet sure if I keep the old and used buttons and joysticks, or if I "sandpaper" the metal plate to add a custom graphic.

Except for ebay, where would be a good place to aquire such nice (high quality) joysticks and or Mini PAC adapters ?
