Hello! I finaly can make it work! For information, look at the picture of the interface card (Thanks to DanB from PlanetVB). If you don't own the original interface card, you can use a generic one with the ASPI drivers. Here is my config : - Intel 486DX2 Processor - Standart VGA board - 64Mo RAM - Tomatoboard 486 PCI Mother Board - Adaptec AHA-1540CF/1542CF ISA Board - 3 buttons SERIAL Mouse - 6.22 French MS-DOS ISW is a great debugger working under DOS System where you can dump RAM/VRAM and use many others features. An assembler (ISAS) and a linker (ISLK) are provided too. You generate an ISX file with information for debugging included. You can debug sound (thanks to SOUND menu) if you own an IS-SOUND or a SNES Emulator-SE.
Holy shit, that's awesome! Do you realize how rare these are?!? They're worth thousands of dollars. And this is the first time I ever heard of someone getting it set up correctly. So congrats lol
Thanks! Sure, I'm looking for get it work since many years. The IS driver works on ASPI driver, so it could works with many interface card. Debugger has IS-SOUND capabilities too. EMULATOR-SE (US Version) is not compatible with IS-DEBUGGER's driver and debugger (different ROM), and has its own driver and debugger version. I expect make a video to show how this debugger works.
Yes, it seems to be the emulator SE driver/debugger since they are tagged SNES and not SHVC and don't communicate with japanese stuff. But not tested yet ...
After a couple of EMULATOR-SE hardware problems, I have finally tested it. Once I loaded the SNESASPI driver and ran the SNES debugger, I finally can say it work with SUPER NES EMULATOR-SE.
I have some problem to build a working ISX file who's working with the debugger because ISAS assembler and ISLIK linker pseudo instruction specification. If someone has some ASM 65816 writing abilities and could help me to write a source file compliant with Intelligent system assembler, please contact me ;-)
