I've got a broken sidecar here and I need some help. When all cables from this sidecar are plugged into the xbox, everything seems to boot and work fine. But when I plug in the HDD cable from the sidecar to the xbox, it gets stuck at the boot logo and goes to an error message (the typical error messages you see with bad hdd's). I don't know why this is happening because the hdd board works fine, the hdd works great, and all the cables are confirmed working as I tested with my working sidecar by swapping out parts. The problem seems to be within the dvd emu board. Any help on trying to fix this is appreciated. Also, both boards power on just fine. Also I just noticed this button and was wondering if anyone knew what its purpose is. Its the silver button next to the copper ring. Thanks for any kind of help in advance.
