In that case I'm going to quickly hijack this thread for another purpose. What is the/a sidecar? What does it do? I keep meaning to ask.
The big block thing on the top, it adds dvd emulation and PIX debugging to the unit, its kinda pointless nowadays lol you can do it all over network
Its not pointless for a real developer, yet its more the fact that they are super rare and its the thing that sotra "makes" a dev kit why they are so cool and valuable.
there not that rare to be fair, and dark neo they are standalone on slims only all phat kits its attached and cant really be taken off without dismantaling the hole bloody thing
they probs ship the hole lot to china, the sidecars probs get broken they are notoriously fragile out the 4 ive had ive only had one with all its legs and i had 1 with a blown board in it
Yeah while you dont see any chinese selling any on taobao or any wjere not even a little bit and they say they are very very rare.
Kits that are sent to China are either A. Destroyed or B. Updated as destroyed but sold on my dodgy Chinese people (Taobao). I figure Microsoft either reuse or have them personally destroyed. After all I'm pretty sure they are what have builds on them and thats where the value is. Most of the China kits are Xenon's or other Pre Jaspers.
I have 2-3 sidecars for sale. 1 is a full 1GB Unit, and I think 2-Grey Sidecars. One is 60GB I think and the other is 250GB Grey250GB - 300 obo Grey60GB - idk.
