Nonsense, The manpower involved in doing something like this would be astronomical. Whose to say Japanese PS3 owners aren't living abroad with their Japanese PSN accounts on their Japanese PS3s? Sending out forms? The beta doesn't even last that long. The amount of money spent to send out paper forms and the postage required with sending them back, then double-checking the information of each beta tester would be absurd. I call shenanigans on this one. Shame on Sony and Konami for not simply making it a worldwide beta test. It goes to show that gamers outside of Japan are getting tired of being left behind, considering the markets of north america and europe are huge in comparison to that of Japan. If they wanted a true and real steress-test of MGSO beta code, crunching it with players worldwide makes a hell of a lot more sense than the dense, overpopulated Japanese metropolitan areas.
yeah, especially with the 360 being an America! Fuck Yeah! console, while doing quite well without giving much of a shit about Japan. You'd think it would pressure Sony to have a more worldwide view on big PS3 releases. Oh well.
