We all know that the price of video games has gotten a little crazy over the past few years but this is a whole new level of crazy. P.T. the playable demo for Silent Hills on PS4 was taken off PlayStation Network forever after Konami annouced the project has been scrapped, now people who have it installed on their PS4 are selling their consoles for £1,000 on ebay. Would you pay £1,000 for a used console and free demo worth £280 brand new. Here is a link to the article over on Destructoid http://www.destructoid.com/do-you-love-p-t-enough-to-pay-1000-for-it--291143.phtml I already installed it last night before it was removed from PSN.
Actually we have a PS4 PKG file, you know what it is. So when it's will be possible like here: http://wololo.net/talk/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=38342 We still can install P.T. from the local source. Just wait for the package installer. p.s. is it possible to install PKG on the non-retail versions of PS4 hardware (debug unit/test/etc.)?
The playable trailer was available for a while. You'd think given that they would start the price out a little smaller. Visions of grandeur, I suppose. Keep us posted on whether or not somebody actually purchases this. That way I can give myself a self-esteem boost by reminding myself that I'm not that person.
I think Kiosk, Debug and CFW units could install PKG files....... Back o topic........ Really stupid. Would this contribute to a possible deflation/crash of the vidya game industry... Stay tuned.... *dun dun duunnnnn*
