I played it a lot, I think I got to level 15 or so. I stopped (for no particular reason) a bit before the Valentine's Day update (my girlfriend still plays) and haven't felt like continuing yet. I'm sure I'll be back when I'm bored some random afternoon. Definitely a nice combo of thumb-pressing and resource management.
im at lvl 14 ive been playing since 2 weeks after the valentines updates im on IOS i just got the orange house and am working on the money for the church im at 21 grand as of this post i completed the st patty's day quest over all its a fun game
Huge necrobump, but the Christmas content is now out (if you don't have it, manually update from whatever app store your device uses)! Anyone still playing this? Feel free to PM me and I'll send you my Origin ID. It'd be good to have some more neighbours - I'm not really one for spam adding random people off lists, so my friends list is relatively small. I wish I'd seen this when it was posted, or even taken notice of a friend of mine who played this sooner. I missed some good quests, it would seem!
I stopped playing because one update bricked the app on my phone (may have been my old Galaxy S2 before I upgraded it), and I rarely play phone games for more than a few months.
Yeah, EA's programming on this game really sucks. For the entire afternoon, you could only connect if you turned your wi-fi off. Lots of people mentioned it on the forum. Didn't see an official response. And it's size is ridiculous for a mobile game. Still, I'm persevering
The Christmas update was manual - there was no message that it was available, the only hint was that you couldn't visit your friends who had updated. You had to go to Google Play (or equivalent) to get it. It took foreeeeever as it was over 500mb. On the plus side, it's now "only" 750mb in total.
I still play this occasionally, though no where near as much as I used to. Feel free to add me if you want (same name as here).
