Some of you may have remember the small collection I posted when I first really started posting on this site back in January/February, but I thought I'd share the progress I've made on getting my items displayed and how much I've added to my collection.

I'll have to wait on getting the second half of the room though until I'm able to get back in the room. While I was working on this my temporary roomate came back and had to go to bed... (one more month.. one more month... one more month..)

I figure I might as well make my way down one shelf and back up the other.
    Shelf 1:
Handhelds, CIB Walmart special edition NES system (Just an NES bundled with SMB3 and Dr. Mario), Sealed Game and Watch Collection, Sealed Final Fantasy Legend 3:

For the Mega Man fans, I believe my current count is 45 unique games. (I really want to expand the first section to another shelf):

Atari 5200 games (some of the boxes are pretty rough unfortunately that's how I got them):

Colecovison games (most boxes in really good shape a couple have the tops or bottoms cut off though):

    Atari 2600 games:
I've yet to be able to try out those Supercharger games.

Very small Atari 400/800 games collection:

    3DO and my only games:

    The Atari 400:

Check back for more possibly tomorrow!

N64Gamer, I'd honestly rather not know how much the Mega Man collection alone cost haha.
Anyways I figured I'd get the second shelf pictures taken along with a few other items.

Coleco Adam (This item here is what really got me started with older Coleco and Atari items):
The main system itself with the Atari 2600 Expansion module, also my SNES which was my first game system when I was 4(all in it's yellow glory of course):

Genesis, the Sega CD rarely works:

NES games (~100 if I recall):

SNES games (I'd like to give it some more love):

Steel Battalion and PS3's HORI FS3:

Dreamcast setup (looks very nice on this monitor):
DC games (would also like some more love):

Of course what everyone has, a pile/box of stuff that needs sorted/cleaned/put away:

Then a picture of the whole wall just to get a full view of things:

Then finally my living room setup sorry about the darkness:
The living room currently has my desktop pc while my temporary roomate is here... along with several consoles including my NES, SFC, N64, Saturn, GC, PS2 slim, Wii, and PS3
It's hard to tell in the picture do to the darkness, but my collections for post 16-bit systems are quite small. I hope to someday get out and get some more great games.

I like all those retro machines. Never could fall for them, but it's nice to see an assorted collection of pre-Nintendo gaming. That Virtuoso cover looks like a kickass Terminator-ripoff^^ What's the game about? FMV-shooting?

Basically it's just a really crappy third person shooter set to awesome rock music that takes place in 2055. You play as a rock superstar where you "invade" 3 different areas including Mars, a snowy haunted house (look out for the evil snowmen!), or an underwater biosphere.

Probably the worst part about the game is you couldn't shoot and move at the same time, and enemies that haven't shown up on screen (but are on your radar) can attack you.

Yeah I love that wallpaper, it's definitely the longest lasting one I've had.

Unfortunately I missed out on the press kit when they first came out, but I used a bit of my tax return money to snag one off ebay.

How many more Mega Man games do you need? It looks like you've got about one of each. Except all the DS ones or whatever. Super sweet collection though.

I might as well just copy paste the txt document I have on my desktop. =P

I was able to remove 3 from the list today. At a pawn shop I picked up Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the Xbox still sealed for $9, and I picked up both versions of Star Force 3 at work.

The list of U.S. released Mega Man games needed:

    (3)GB - IV, V, Xtreme
    (5)GBA - MMBN 1, 2, 4 B, 6 F & G
    (5)DS - MMBN 5, Star force 1 P & L & D, 2 S
(1)PSP - Mega Man Powered Up
    (2)SNES - X2, X3
    (2)Saturn - X4, 8
(2)PS1 - 8 (Collectors Edition), Misadventures of Tron Bonne
    (2)PS2 - X7, Anniversary Collection
    (8)PC - 1, 3, X, X3, X4, X8, Legends, Legends 2

Nice oldschool and Megaman games collection :icon_bigg Megaman collecting is so much easier if you don't care about completeness! I'm afraid my MM collection will never be complete:crying:It gets so convoluted when you start running into multiple releases of the BN games and whatever that crazy DS series is  I need to come up with a parameter for MM/RM collecting so I can feel like I've achieved something without actually owning every stinking scrap of Megaman game out there :icon_bigg Maybe I'll stick the the originals and the X series...

I would like to have complete copies of all the games, but it's just so hard to find them in good condition and not ridiculously expensive. I do agree though the BN and SF series are quite large. Sad thing is they are probably my least favorite series. Mainly because they have nothing to do with the Mega Man storyline, not that they're bad games.

As of now though I've got 51 of them so I will eventually be complete with it and I can venture into getting complete copies and/or foreign copies.

My UK collection is the weakest. US and JP are fair, but so far from complete. If I were to say what the prize part of my collection is, I'd probably say the UK portion 'cause it's so dang hard to build (considerably harder than US or JP). If I were to pare things down, I'd probably just keep the JP portion, though, as it is the source material for the others. I did however manage to grab a sealed NES MM2 UK a while back :icon_bigg Try finding a near mint MM1 UK. Good luck there! I think mine is pretty beat, but at least it's complete

I've gotten rid of most of my US dupes, but I'll have a look around and let you know if I find anything that might be of interest for you (I know I've got still got some JP and UK dupes, too).

Well I thought it's been a while since I've done any update on my collection so I figured I'd go ahead and share some. :icon_bigg

First off for a couple new systems:
Atari 600 XL found it on my trip in Nebraska for $40.

About a month ago I found this in Des Moines, IA for $80. :icon_bigg
    [IMG]

Also here's an update on my Mega Man collection!

    Closeups (links):
    Top
    Middle
    Bottom

As for what I have left for US released games:

    Console:
    SNES - Mega Man X2
    SNES - Mega Man X3
    PS1 - Mega Man 8 (Collectors Edition)
Sega Saturn - Mega Man 8
Sega Saturn - Mega Man X4

    Handheld:
GBA - Mega Man Battle Network 4 Blue Moon
GBA - Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar
GBA - Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Falzar
Nintendo DS - Mega Man Star Force Dragon
Nintendo DS - Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker × Saurian
(Actually have all three battle networks at work and will probably grab them this weekend)

    PC:
    Mega Man - 3 1/2 and 5 1/4 floppy
    Mega Man 3 - 3 1/2 and 5 1/4 floppy and CD-ROM (bundled with Street Fighter 2)
Mega Man X - CD-ROM (game alone, and a version bundled with a controller)
    Mega Man X3 - CD-ROM
    Mega Man X4 - CD-ROM
    Mega Man X5 - CD-ROM
Mega Man X three pack - CD-ROM comes with X3-X5
    Mega Man X8 - CD-ROM
    Mega Man Legends - CD-ROM

So a long ways to go PC wise, but hopefully it shouldn't take me too much longer!

Really about the only other things that have grown in size would be my Atari 2600 games has nearly doubled, CIB 2600 system, a few boxed Genesis and a bunch of SNES games. *sigh* I'm finally moving onto 16-bit. =P
