SO.........a new fighter a new IP and a new company makin fighters. I messed around with the Demo Yesterday and it feels like the VS Games had a baby with Guilty Gear. Very fun, and the music is good too I also like the artstyle, reminds me of Kids Next Door on Cartoon Network. Anyone have the full game?
Is this on Xbox live? There's nothing on the Japanese store about this but then again that's nothing new. I may log in to my UK account tonight and see whats new. Yakumo
I THINK it's only on PSN, that's the only place I've heard of it. Not completely sure though. Edit: Well it's not on the Australian PSN
Nothing grabbed me either but it's a new fighter and a new IP and a new company so I want to support that.
Got it for the PS3, apparently it's the best version (and my only choice since that's all I have heh). Really liked it. I found the tutorial very useful, and improved my skills a bit, since most of the stuff can be used on Capcom fighting games. Online play tends to be smooth, it uses the same netcode as SF III Third Strike and SF2 HD Remix. Very colorful, bright and smooth animated sprites and yeah, it totally is Marvel vs Capcom 2 with tweaks and no Ryu clone. Hopefully it sells well enough that we get more characaters as DLC, it only has 8. I dont' think there has been one day in the last 2 weeks that I have not played at least a few matches online. Just wish the character design was not as fan-service as it is.
So much respect for Mike Z and his team, Skull Girls is looking great, has sold well too the first update is already in development...
As a Neo Geo Pocket fan, I loved their April Fools joke: http://skullgirls.com/2012/04/skullgals-coming-to-handheldgaming-systems-in-early-2013/
