This prototype is dated July 16, 1987 which before the actual game release date, which was September of 1987. The game was manufactured by Sunsoft / Sun Corp. of America. I received this prototype from a Nintendo rep back in the late 80's and it has been in storage ever since. The game is still in great working condition, as you can see from the screen shot pictured it still fires up nicely. Also, in the screen shot you will notice the date actually says 1986. There are only a few known copies of this prototype that I've been able to find. The perfect addition to any Nintendo collection. Please let me know if you have any questions prior to bidding.
