I have Cho Ren Shak 68k for Windows and I love the back ground music it has. I was able to find where the music files are located and they have the .MDC extension. I was wondering if there is any program out there that can can play that file and hopefully convert it to mp3 or .wav.

Get GoldWave from http://www.goldwave.com/ It's a great bit of software for music lovers. It doesn't cover .MDC as an output file but it probably can convert it. I've had it convert Konami's PCMfiles used in Saturn games. The files must be slowed down with a different frequency rate. Sound a bit poor but at least GoldWave could convert them. Here are the formats it can output to at any frequency range - WAV, MP3, XAC, AIF, AFC, IFF, AU, VOC, SND, SDS, SNP, VOX, MAT, TXT, WMA and OGG. It can accept PCM if you mess about with the imput settings so it may also accept MDC. Give it a try. It's free to download.
