hey guys can someone enlighten me as into whats a RGH,Jtag,r-tag and so forth and whats the best one for a slim 360 i found something called freestyle Dash and it looks pretty cool
RGH: Reset glitch hack. A mod chip that takes advantage of a timing problem in the CPU. It tries to inject its own code into memory, resetting the console and retrying until it works. AFAICT this is the most common one these days. JTAG: Don't know the details, but... it's making a modification to something in the console's memory to allow it to run insigned code. This is a one-off, meaning once it's done it keeps working, no reset orgy necessary. This has to be done at or below a certain kernel version - slims came out of the factory with a much newer one, so this won't work on any of them. R-Tag: Never heard of that one, and Google doesn't find much either, so... I have no idea.
Rgb doesn't inject code. You already program the unsigned code to the nand. The rgb chip just resets the cpu at just the right moment to cause it to glitch and pass a check on the contents of the nand that would usually fail - allowing the unsigned/modified dash to boot.
