Note:This game isn't currently playable. I can't get it to dump correctly.

Today I present to you a partial release of Smashing Drive for the Gamecube.

Region for this game is Japan, even though it was coded in Spain and never got a jap release.
Video output if a little odd.

There are some differences with the final, but seeing as this was a port from an arcade game, it's not that crazy.

For now, I am just posting the files from the game. Included is every file on the discs.
I had some trouble getting swiss to dump the game. It was freezing at 97% and I can't figure out why.

Included are .elf and .dlf and .dsf files!
This mean that it was first written to a NPDP cartridge and could be written back to a cartridge if somebody had the time and tools. (I think)

Thank you very much! When I extract the .wad files with WAD Extractor ( was that program on the discs?) I get enormous .bin files. Also, how did you see the Region is Japan?

 

On my NR cube, the region switch has to be set to JAP to boot the disc.
Also, the memory cards must be jap formatted.

I'll work on a proper dump tonight.

I haven't had any luck with the wads, either.

Got it to dump.

Turns out there's a bug with r253 of swiss that makes it fail to dump games.
I think it's triggered if you try to dump 2 discs in a row, or try to dump a disc after a failed dump.

Anyway, I'll get it up on Sunday or Monday.

Nice, very cool of you to share with the community. You may want to look at "CleanRip" from the author of Swiss. It's available over on gc forever.
