Hi, I recently came into possession of the SNASM2 and SNSERVER install disks, and I've uploaded them in the hope that someone finds them useful. The SNASM2 disk contains the SNASM68K and SNASMZ80 assemblers, SNMAKE and SNLIB, the SNBUG68K debugger, and various other tools for the Sega MegaCD. The SNSERVER disk contains some form of file server for reading and writing files from the MegaCD over the SNASM interface card, and includes some example 68k source code. I've managed to successfully install the tools via DOSBox on Windows 7 64bit, but I don't yet have a working MegaCD kit so I'm afraid I couldn't test any further. SNASM2 and SNSERVER disk Headcrab.
Thank you! I've been waiting a long time for these disks to surface. That disk contains snasmz80.exe. There are a lot of developers who have wanted to get their hands on that z80 assembler, but it simply hasn't been available in the public domain until now.
Excellent, glad it's of some use. I'm planning to scan the docs that I have with it too - I have the SNASM2 User Manual with sample code, and the Sega 32x Hardware Manual. Teancum from this forum has some docs too (CTrac docs and MegaCD manuals), he's planning to release those too.
Teancum is the lucky owner of that SEGA-CD debugger with full documentation, right ? I'm waiting anxiously for that, just as much as Nemesis and the other folks at spritesmind.net ... Thank you for being so generous, Headcrab.
Anyone has the CTrac CD emulation card software? I also got the two disks. Works great with a snasm2 interface. :encouragement:
