    Hey guys.

    Brand new to the forum.

I'm moving onto a new project, a Pi Powered SNES, but I want it looking as original as possible.

So Basically a Pi inside a SNES Shell, but using original controllers (already got that bit sorted) and no obvious alterations on the outside.

What I need, is a CAD drawing for the original Back panel (RF, power, multi) That I can get 3D printed and modify to replace the multi out with HDMI. My main goal is to keep everything as original as possible, and also be able to bolt everything back in if need be, with no damage. So I'm not willing to cut up any original parts for the project. They're just too hard to find to warrant the destruction. I'm hoping you guys can point me in the right direction, Google hasn't helped much. It's for a PAL SNES, BTW.

    Cheers guys..

TL;DR.... Need CAD drawing of PAL SNES back panel.

Maybe BuffaloWing can chime in on this one. He designed the 3D printed NES top loader back panels that Helder sells and has some cool things for sale in his Shapeways store. Not sure if he'd be willing to make his designs open source, but hopefully he'll be able to help in some way.

On a related note, I recently acquired a SNES Mini and have been wanting to install my SPDIF mod in it, but like you I've been a bit wary drilling holes in something that I can't get a replacement for. I've been meaning to learn SolidWorks, but in the meantime perhaps we can also add the SNES Mini back panel to the list of 3D models that would be useful to the community :)

    Hey L-train.
Yeah, really don't want to destroy what can't be replaced. I've got 4 PAL SNES', and they all work without any problems. Just want the option to bolt it all back together if I decide too.
The best I've been able to find are two plans, but only one is in a decent format. I think I'll just get this one printed, and see how I want to change it. Most likely fill in the square hole and adjust the hdmi port a bit.
