So I bought a faulty SNES thinking it was just the contacts that needed cleaning or the guy was using an 3rd party PSU, but it was neither, I have stipped it all down and installed the SCIC mod (To practice even if I couldn't get it back from the dead.) So that all went fine and the mod worked all switching modes worked LEDs changed colour ect. But the green and scrambled graphics still exist and that is PAL and NTSC games.

    Please help me :)

1.So just to confirm there was graphic issues before the mod was attempted?
2.What type of games are you trying I.E standard games or carts with special chips like super ~FX?
3.tried another power supply and TV cable?
4.check for dry solder joints on motherbpard board and look at faulty Capacitors(leaking or abnormal shaped)
5.test the 7805 voltage regulator make sure it outputting the correct voltage

    any thing Else just ask

    Regards DaKar

1.So just to confirm there was graphic issues before the mod was attempted? Yep there was bought as faulty
2.What type of games are you trying I.E standard games or carts with special chips like super ~FX? Various games PAL NTSC and one with Super FX
3.tried another power supply and TV cable? Yep tried both
4.check for dry solder joints on motherbpard board and look at faulty Capacitors(leaking or abnormal shaped) Nothing that I could see
5.test the 7805 voltage regulator make sure it outputting the correct voltage that is the one next to the switch right ? If so will test in the morning, but if it was not working wouldn't be putting the whole 9v through and destroying it completly ?

    Cheers :)
