Hey, I have been searching around for a while. Found lots of audio/video pinouts... But, does anyone have the FULL schematics for the SNS-001? System Board is a SNN-CPU-01. I have a dead board and I want the power switch and reset switch off it. And I need to pinout the points on those two.

The board does not have a power supply and I cannot supply power to it... So I can't find which contacts are the 5v with a meter. I need them for a raspberry pi project.

Also, I assume the controller ports have the same pinouts as any other SNES as well, correct?

    Thanks, guys.

Why do you need schematics to reuse the switch??

Remove switch, use a multimeter to figure out which points are connected when switched one way and disconnected the other.

Continuity testing is fine... But, since there are 6 points on the power (4 I am sure are ground)... can I just test for continuity without worrying about reverse connection? Which one is the hot? And what is the additional post for on both the reset and the power? I assume its a three way switch with an interconnect between the reset and the power... but, the traces are messed up on the board and I can't tell which post is which.

These questions is why I thought it would be best to just look at a diagram.

The extra ones dont matter, just find 2 pins that are connected with switch one way and disconnected the other and use them?

Okay, I was planning to run the switch and reset in parallel like the SNES has it. But, now that I look at my project circuit... It has a separate connection for the reset and power. They are not in parallel. So, really I just need to find two poles on both and running them seperately.

Perfect. I had gotten all confused... and was being dense. You are right. Just find on position and off position for each one and done.

Thanks for working me out of a self made hole.

P.S. Still would be nice to have schematics for this particular SNES in the future though. :p

A mechanical switch has no hot or neutral side, it is not direction specific or anything like diode or polarized capacitor.

A multimeter is fine for finding the 2 right pins.
