    Hi all,

So I'm trying to remove the need for stepdowns in my retro setup where possible.

I'm guessing finding something to negate a stepdown for the Panny Q is probably non-existent, but what about the SNES Mini (US Version) Any 3rd party PSU equivalents??

    Thanks in advance!

    Step down as in what? 200 ~ 240 VAC to 100 ~ 127 VAC?

Oops! I mean US Current to UK Current.

For example: I own a US Sega CDX, but I use a 3rd party PSU I purchased online, which negates the use of needing a stepdown...

    Thanks!

First of it is voltage, not current.

So you live in UK and power outlets outputs 230 Volts at 50 Hz. You have a US console, which official adapter expects input of 120 Volts at 60 Hz.

So generally you find a regulated third-party adapter for your system that works with 230 VAC at 50 Hz input. If it doesn't say it is regulated assume it is not regulated.

Do what I did with my SNES Mini. That Nintendo connector is terrible.
