I have never seen them before or even mentioned on this site, i looked on ebay to china sites still have never seen pirate carts before. Is there such thing
They're not as common as Famicom pirates but still very easy to find. The more interesting question is, where are the N64 pirate carts?
I hear pirate N64 carts exist too. But I bet they are not quite as common since they probably were more expensive and less popular than PS1 bootleg discs.
I'm pretty sure there were images of pirate N64 carts on the old roarvgm site. Never heard much since, though.
I did see N64 pirates back in the day, but they were useless because you needed an adapter and an original cart to make them work. I didn't have an N64 until like, the early 2000s or so, so I never got to try a pirate car myself. But I saw them, and they weren't anything to write home about. Now Snes pirates did have lots of really interesting combinations of games. There's lots of pirates down here that include Dragon Ball Z games, for instance.
SNES pirates seem to not exist in Asian countries, besides a few multicarts which always have Super Mario World. The most interesting SNES pirates that exist are the games that are made by the piraters themselves. SNES has the smallest amount of those though. Digimon Adventure and Pokemon Gold Silver are the only interesting ones to me, all others are ports of Genesis pirates.
Don't forget Pocket Monster. It's actually not that bad of a game. Sonic on SNES was cool too. http://bootleggames.wikia.com/wiki/Pocket_Monster_%28Mega_Drive/SNES%29 http://bootleggames.wikia.com/wiki/Sonic_the_Hedgehog_(SNES)
I own a cart of Sonic 4 on the SNES and it's... eh, fun in its own right (nothing like seeing Sonic on the SNES, right?), but certainly not a pirate original and it wasn't that great a game to begin with. Wasn't there a similar hack for the GB version of Speedy Gonzales?
