With a SiperCIC you need to double tap reset to go to the save menu.

i just read that you have to press reset twice within a ludicrously little amount of time to prompt the save dialogue i have just been trying that for the past 10 mins and i still cant save my game -_-

Do you mean the PowerPak menu or the game menu? If you are returned to the PowerPak menu it means you are doing it right, but the game doesn't have SRAM.

You probably have an old SuperCIC version or a different switchless mod which doesn't have support for the PowerPak. Which means that it is impossible to access the save menu.

If that powerpak has a region free CIC already inside, and you want the snes to stay virgin, get ntsc.

Better game play experience than going back to 50hz.

iv got a super players console which is universal, the powerpak displays a message on the lines off "not for use on a blah blah system" so i guess my powerpak isnt region free :(

super players is a clone, not nintendo hardware. you probably know the mini snes was never released in pal.

Hey mate, I avoid saving on the PowerPak. To me, it is strictly an "arcade" device. I use it for quick plays and lugging it to other people's houses, so I have my entire collection with me but in 1 cartridge. For save games like RPGs, I play on the real cart. It's the way to go IMHO. PowerPak is strictly used for convenience. I also do have a few games on there that I can't get anywhere else, too, of course ;)
