On a whim, I decided to mod my Super Famicom with both a 50 Hz/60 Hz switch and a lockout disable switch. While both work great, I noticed that adding the switches seems to have broken compatibility with SA-1 and SuperFX 2 games. Even if I have the lockout chip enabled and the other switch set to 60 Hz it still doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas? Everything else I have works fine, including games that use other enhancement chips (DSP-1, SuperFX, Cx4).

I might go that route eventually, but for the time being I'd like to fix this issue before I get into that. I just recently fixed a SuperCIC mod for someone else and I'd like to take a break from that for now.

I've just done the SuperCIC mod, it was harder than I expected but it was worth it, looks much more 'professional' pressing the reset button rather than flicking a switch.

Compatibility wise it's played everything I've thrown at it, which admittedly isn't much. Vortex works fine with it although the PAL Stunt Race FX I have is a bit weird, I have to boot it in one mode then switch to the other. I've also tried a SA-1 Jap golf game that works fine. I've got a PAL Winter Gold kicking around somewhere that I need to test at some point too.
