Hi there, my SNES show green bars on a black background and i'd really to get them removed I've searched around a lot but haven't seen anything about this. I've attached a picture to show what i meant. Already tried different cables (power and video), replaced the 62-pin connector and different cartridges. The SNES has the following text on the mainboard: SHVC-CPU-01 If anyone knows a solution to this, please tell or point into the right direction Also if more information is need i'd happily share it.
Usually green lines are associated with the power supply. If you've tried a known good AC adaptor then the problem could still be power-related, but on the board.
i've attached a different picture now where i point the huge red arrow, there you can see a clear difference in colors (might need to zoom in a bit). Also in this video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/67u793df71c7bpp/2016-03-12 16-07-36.flv?dl=0 At the bottom of the screen you can see it's more like purple (?) instead of the actual colors, so it looks like its not just green different question: on the mainboard at the spot that labeled with C67, there is nothing? my other SNES' do have a cap there (the big one)... Could that be an issue?
i soldered that cap on it, didnt change a thing new video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/q7ax5a2ofkhzqy3/Video 14-03-16 22 11 11.mov?dl=0
