Snes Signal Noise on RGB

    Hi Borti.

    Voultar found a fix for this:

    "To fix it, lift pin 3 (subcarrier) of PPU2. Pull it out of circuit (with its resistor) and terminate it directly to the video encoder."

    I'm trying to spread the word as much as possible, as I ended up selling my APU and RGB revisions.

    well, Voultar told me this on the retro round table, try emailing him, maybe you guys can share your findings and come up with a solution.

    On a second tought maybe this mod only works with RGB revisions only and not APU revisions. Voultar did mention that the pin you are lifting is the color carrier, perhaps its in a different pin on APUs.

    S-PPU2 is universial and has unique pinout for all revisions. FBX has done it at APU mainboard, too. For him it works, for me it doesn't work.
