I have a Super 8 for my NTSC-U SNES. The Super 8 menu and SNES games shows up in color but the NES/Famicom games show up in black & white. I have tried it on a number of different TV's & VCR's and can't get the image to display in color. Why is this happening? If I can display the NTSC signal from the SNES games I should be able to display the NES/Famicom games?

You may be using a SCART cable for the SNES, so getting RGB output, but the Super8 only outputs NTSC signal.

Open it up and there will be a small trimmer, adjust this with a plastic trimming tool (unless it is plastic then you can use a screwdriver) until you get a colour picture.

Hmm I think when it goes into NES/Famicom mode the signal changes to PAL-M which would explain the Black & white picture.

Jamtex, Thanks for the info I'll open it up on the weekend and see if I can get it in color.

I should point out that I know that there is a colour trimmer in the Tristar but I am not sure about the Super 8 but I can't see why not.
