Hi people, just having a weird issue with one of my Many Super Nintendo's (SNES)

I did get it in a sorry old state but managed to strip it down, clean and repair and the majority of the games I use in it work fine now Except super Fx games?

I have tried several copies of star fox and a copy of stunt race FX however it now displays a picture but it only shows blocks and a pink background(graphical artefacts)
A new 62 pin connector has been tried to no effect, no physical damage to any of the components can be seen?

    any ideas?

    Dakar:encouragement:

I'm not entirely certain about it but I believe Star Fox should at least show the non-polygonal graphics if the SuperFX communication wasn't occuring.

Faulty DMA controller is a possibility ... Bad OAM RAM, broken traces on the mother board ... The possibilities are infinite...

I once repaired my Super Famicom after it spent a few years on storage... Mode 7 was screwed up. The culprit was the PPU1 chip which got replaced.

Working fine atm and the repair was in 2007 ... lol
