Ran into this impressive knockoff at an antique shop today.

From a distance, it looks like an ordinary NA Super Nintendo controller box...

...But it's not. It happens to be low-quality pictures of the SNES Super Pad, confidently guaranteed to be in good working order by the Super Pad Seal of Quality in the lower left-hand corner of the box.

The back of the box features the exact same type as the genuine one, but with the Nintendo logos removed. and another "Super Pad Seal of Quality" label.

    Model No. SENS-8152

I briefly opened the box to take a look at the controller. Good quality for a generic, but nothing notable.

It looks like one of those china SNES-USB pads for the PC you can get everywhere on ebay for little $.

Those come without such a nice box though. ^^

I thought about it, but passed. I'm sure it's still there for $12.

Not a bad price, you should have bought it! Crazy how the packaging looks like the real thing. Mixed feelings on knockoffs, taking away business from the rightful producer. On the other hand great that there still is a source to buy brand new controllers for a decades old system. Is that controller for the SNES or a PC? Though 1st party are usually the best, sometimes the knockoffs are decent build quality, having the advantage new and of not decades wear.

    It was for SNES.

They also have a CIB Magnavox Odyssey II.
