There is some guys/companies that make these adapters (mayflash; raphnet; www.brunofreitas.com; ). I never got one, but see many videos on youtube, and people say that its work very well, withou noticeable lag an all that. I love play snes on snes9xGx on my wii with gc ports, and noticed that it wont allow me play games with 5 players or more (like bomberman 3, the one i want more). I'm afraid to buy, and test and have some power supply issue (the cube works different from snes, I believe) I own an tribal multi-tap snes (with 5 snes controller ports in), and I want to know if any of you guys that have all these items, plus the wii emulator (or even cube version, cause is the same, basically), can report if we can play snes games on the emulator with 5 or more players using that multitap. I know that in the Virtual Console there is a trick (hold r in one gc pad while the game is loading, to assign it as control 5), but in the emulators these never be integrated. I also asked some of these adapters makers, but they did not respond, probably because they not own the original multi-tap snes. Thank you since now.
Many companies and even Nintendo made SNES controllers and SNES to Wii adapters that plug into the Wii remote. Maybe those will work?
The controllers sure work. But i want to know if multitap with 5 controllers will work, if put in the gamecube port 2 of the wii. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/TRIBAL-TAP-6...726757?hash=item419db48165:g:vycAAOSwVL1WEowM
I don't think that will work. Not that it technically isn't feasible, but I don't think the adapter functions in a way for this to work. The SNES to GameCube adapter is likely designed to connect only to a standard joypad and then converts the data it gets into standard GameCube controller data that the GC or Wii then uses. Using a Multi-tap would just result in weird behavior for that single GC controller port.
