[SNES] Unreleased PAL version of Speedy Gonzales

I just wrote a quick article on this. Not much to say about it, it is PAL and therefore slower than the US version. They also used a different song at the title screen for some reason.

Just a typo, you wrote "los gatos banditos" instead of "bandidos" twice.

 

Bandito is the correct spelling and pronunciation FYI

 

Well not in Spanish at least. Title screen is also showing "bandidos".

 

As a Mexican I can confirm its "Bandito" but you are correct in the game itself saying Bandido, I retract my rebuttal :|

EDIT: seems in Spain it really is "Bandido" so I yea ima shut up now.

 

I've never heard that word in Spain although it seems that it is used. More about it:

It's like American English and British English. They have some different words (appartment vs flat) and different spelling (color vs colour).

 

Not exactly the same since "bandito" does not exist in Spanish, it is used as a faux-Spanish word as seen in the wiki link.

 

The fact that theres different variations between Spain's Spanish and Mexico's Spanish is enough to allow oddities like such
That said - it's similar to Italian, of which lacks this word in full I'm sure..

 

Sure tell that to my old Mexican Parents and all the old black and white movies they watch but broman forbid Wikipedia ever be wrong.

 

What I meant is that I guess you won't find that word in a dictionary (or maybe?) like you will for American and British English. By the way we call the mouse Speedy González
