    Hi all
Need advice, just brought a ntsc us snes from someone online for cheap but it has no power cable, being in the uk what can I use to power the us snes without having to use step down converters etc or will it be buying the basic lead with step downs? Is there anyway a 3rd party one would work?
    Thanks in advance
    Matt

Push-on adapters are always a bit dodgy. You can get a "proper" PSU from Rob Webb:

    http://www.consolegoods.co.uk/

Go to Super Nintendo > Consoles & Accessories

Fifth one down. You'll have to ask him when he's restocking, though - it's actually been out of stock a bit longer than "temporarily"!

I tried looking for one for my SNES Mini for ages, to no avail. Unless Consolegoods get some more back in stock, best bet is to go with any suitable powered 3rd party PSU and these adapters: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/power-tip-connector-r-ar28f

I'm probably going to replace the power jack on mine with something a bit more standardised, so that I can just use a PSU without the adapter.
