Debate is healthy, even if I was in the wrong.

Glad something good came out of this though, its not an issue I had ever heard about until now! and not only did we find the issue, we also found the solution in the newer revisions.

i there to all iam a follower of this forum from quite some time and it has helped me often times with troubleshooting some repairs or mods of retro consoles.
this case i have a problem were i have researched immensely about the SNES were i did the supercic mod.
To more detailed, my rev. board is a SNSP-CPU-01 PAL. and the problem i have is this:
i removed the cic and did all the wiring correctly following the http://wolfsoft.de/ website.
Then when i power on there´s no video or sound coming from the snes. on my lcd says " no signal " on the imput when the console is on , so not even a black screen i get.
then i checked the capcitors and the c59 and c60 had showed some stains on the board but only the solder mask on the traces. i sanded a bit just to check and the traces were fine. then i replaced all the small caps following the http://console5.com/wiki/SNES and still it shows the same problem...
on pin 33 in the s-wram there is a 120ohm resistor but i put a 1k resistor is that what makes the problem?
i hope i can get some help on this =/
    thanks to all you!

Do you have any photo's of your mod?

I'm assuming that the SNES was tested and working before you installed the SuperCIC?

The resistor on pin 33 of the S-WRAM in the guide that you linked to should be 10k ohms.

i did before the supercic mod i did the region mod with the two switches but the cic on there decided to accept only a few games, thats why i went with the Supercic mod
i had putt already a 10k instead of the 1k resistor and the problem still happens . i dont know what else i can do =/
i dont know if i can put a youtube link but i made a small vid showing whats happen when i turn on the sistem
