For a long time, I had vaguely remembered the demo version of a snowboarding game on PS1 that said something about building your own mountains in the full game. I was pretty surprised to hear of such a feature in a snowboarding title, but never did get around to trying the released product. Recently I found out exactly which game that was; it was MTV Sports: Pure Ride. Like I mentioned, I never actually played the full game, but it does make me wonder if any other snowboarding games had something like this. Obviously this kind of thing was pretty commonplace in a variety of extreme sports games a few years ago, but I guess because of the downhill nature of snowboarding stages, developers couldn't exactly toss a simple grid-based editor in their games like THPS or Dave Mirra's BMX. Anyway, I can't find any information by googling it, so that may mean that a "create-a-mountain" mode really isn't featured in many snowboarding games at all. Just figured someone here might know of a couple. For the record, does anybody know if the editor in Pure Ride was any good?
