I think there is nothing too special about them unlike a GD-R or Katana disc. Else they would cost much much more then a few $$ per disc.
Got about 5 of the PSX ones, and forwarded one of the Saturn discs to Tachikoma from an eBay seller about a year ago (though not before taking a peek at it :smt042 ) and they are indeed just normal CD-Rs. RARE CD-Rs, but CD-R nonetheless. But now I'm curious - how many versions of libCrypt were there? And how can one tell which one was used on what game?
I figure some messing about with a hex editor could tell you the libcrypt version but it'll be quite a bit of work :-D And the Saturn CD-R is a "normal" CD-R, but I don't know about the PS recordable, my spindle has yet to arrive :smt033
I've got one of those Saturn CDR discs. Can't remember where it came from now. Here's a look at the actual disc Yakumo
If anyone has some sega or so ny branded cdrs let me know, I have some betas I found at acclaim I want to burn onto real cds for my collection. Yah, loads of saturn.
