Since mid-Ph.D I slacked off on the gym and jogging, but got into it again after watching all the Rocky films for the first time last summer. Since getting to Japan, I didn't bring any kit with me and haven't made time to do anything. Will start jogging soon. 27 here.

I've been riding my bike only to find out that I need a new bike, badly.

If I wanted a colonoscopy and accelerated carpal tunnel syndrome at the same time I'd go see a dominatrix.

Just got a knee brace (soft) today. I think part of my knee issues are my shit posture, including legs. Somewhat bow-legged, due to being such a fat bastard as a child. Excited to see how it works though.

I mostly do power weighting at the moment. Means of doing every exercise with the max weight I'm still able to reach min. 8 or max. 12 reps per set.

I do 4 sets per exercise and lower (adjust) the weights with each set due to the muscle exhaustment. 30 sec relax time between each set.

As for the last set, I go near muscle failure, means if I still have some power left to go over 12 reps, I continue as far as I can reach.

Then 2mins of relaxing/streching before the next exercise.
